I bought an old teapot for one euro. There was still some dry coffee inside.
I made a plaster mold of it and poured porcelain in, turning an old story into a new one.
What interests me in this project is to invite people at looking at everyday objects with new eyes.
By reversing the teapot a new function is born: a drainer. Meaning and function are shifted in purpose to break patterns of expectation.
